Hosted checkout

Hosted checkout is a checkout solution offered and hosted by AppDirect for Developers interested in merchandising their products themselves on their own website, but without handling the complexity of implementing their own purchase flow, capturing credit cards information, and following high levels of security standards, such as PCI compliance.

With hosted checkout, customers can browse a Developer's website for products to buy. Once a customer clicks the 'Buy Now' button for a selected product, information about the customer and purchase is sent to AppDirect through a secured API call. The customer is then redirected to AppDirect's hosted checkout solution to capture billing information and complete the payment. Once complete, the customer is redirected back to the developer's website, and AppDirect returns the proper information to the Developer about the transaction, its status and the product's subscription order.
